Sherkot - Hangu Road
Sherkot-Hangu section is a part of the provincial highway S-7 connecting Kohat, Hangu, Bannu, Thall, Miram Shah and the adjoining rural centers bordering Afghanistan. Recently, the section between Kohat and Katcha-Pakha stop was upgraded to a four (04) lane divided carriageway. The sectional length between Katcha-Pakha stop, Sherkot and Hangu is an old surface treated road with a macadam stone base. The total sectional length surveyed is 24 Km. As part of the phased-up gradation program, the existing carriageway between Sherkot and Hangu city is proposed to be a four-lane divided highway.
